Irresistibly drawn to parts of the globe that are less traveled, I have for the longest time ignored central and eastern Europe. But that big blank on my travel map is about to change. This summer I am off to wander through a large swathe of countries in Central Europe. I start in Croatia and at some point, will find myself in Finland. Everything in between remains up in the air in the very best of travel MO. The spaghetti of the red line is apt to change on whim but stay tuned for stories as they unfold.

Not only have I heard great things about the country, especially its people, I met a couple of Croatians while in Malawi in 2016. We kept in touch and hope to catch up in person. Looking forward to it!
