Germany

Mosty pretty, sometimes quaint and always touristy, this summer is not quite far enough off the beaten path for the likes of me. But the silver lining has been meeting people I have met in some other part of the globe sometimes recently or sometimes years ago. And especially seeing old friends in Germany. The past couple of weeks have been spent doing just that, in Cologne and Berlin. Spending unhurried time with friends I don’t see often and catching up has been lovely! Now it is back on the road again and I am off to Poland.
ITCHY FEET TRAVELS 
Perhaps not your usual travel destinations but at least you are travelling! Keep enjoying!

Lol yes at least you are travelling! I was meant to be in Azerbaijan today but with the misiles a few weeks ago I cancelled I’m a bit depressed to be honest. It’s so cold and miserable winter here and I could be enjoying some heat and fun in Azerbaijan!

Oh, I’m so sorry, Anna! But Azerbaijan will still be there when this insanity dies out, hopefully soon. A friend was supposed to be in Beirut but the flight was cancelled there too. Can you take a trip elsewhere in the sun?

Was thinking of doing that but it was all such a mad rush cancelling and getting money back that I couldn’t be bothered trying to sort something last minute. It’s ok, I will get there eventually!

Stay on the lookout for something that may crop up unexpectedly. Sometimes an unplanned trip turns out to to be the best! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
