Hi! We only intend to go to Uzbekistan and Tadjikistan as we will only have 3 weeks to travel. Is it possible to buy such beautifully embroidered works there as well?

In Uzbekistan you will find plenty of places to buy them. Especially in Bukhara, Samarkhand but also in Khiva. In Taskent, the mosque with the oldest koran has number of gift shops as well.
I have just entered Tajikistan from Kyrgyzstan from the north and am slowly making my way south visiting ancient cities of Sogdiana – a long-time fascination for me. I hope you’ll journey with me via the blog if you haven’t enough time yourself. Thanks for reading!!
